Our 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching can be purchased as a full course (find out more here) or you can now choose to purchase the modules individually, priced at £15 per module.
If after completing several individual modules you choose to complete the course in full, you will receive a reduction in cost (dependent on the number of modules you have completed) and you will only need to complete the 1st4sport portfolio, not the online learning elements of the course that you have already completed.

- The common sport categories

- The minimum deployment standards to operate as a coach in sport
- How to promote the role of sports officials

Inclusive Coaching Practice
This module will cover:
- Key terms in relation to inclusion in sport and physical activity
- The barriers faced by under-represented groups and individuals in sport and physical activity
- The principles of the Activity Inclusion Model as a tool for inclusion
- How to use STEPS as a tool for differentiation describe that participants learn in different ways
- The stages of development impact and their impact on coaching
- Basic principles for effective communication

Safe Coaching Practice
This module will cover:
- The factors that influence health and safety in sport and physical activity
- The process of carrying out safety checks as part of an assistant coaches role
- Principles of duty of care towards participants
- How to follow emergency procedures understand the principles of safeguarding children and adults at risk
- How to maintain safety in a coaching environment
